Youth In Search Gala, Sydney

Fergie’s sister Jane Ferguson has been trying to rev everyone up about this for weeks. In the end she managed to pack a good A-list crowd into Luna Park (if you can call the PM and his wife, A-listers, some wouldn’t) under cover, close by the dodgem cars. Everyone said that they had a great time including Sydney’s most desired single mum, Shari Lea Hitchcock - who had organised a car to pick her up at 11pm but wished she hadn’t and even Lady (Sonia) McMahon with perennial date, Bill Winning - just why a 70-year-old could be bothered getting all tizzied up for yet another charity ball at a difficult destination is anyone’s guess. No, I’m not ageist by the way, just practical - it was hardly a luxurious five star hotel where she would have felt slightly more pampered.

Ralph Lauren Pink Polo Event - Robert Rosen Saddles Up

Thursday night’s focal point in Sydney’s East where the Ralph Lauren store was helping to promote pink ribbon month with its special polo tees. Some of the city’s true celebutantes modelled them and encouraged everyone to buy a Tee for this special cause.

Looking only slightly fazed and dazed, Tom Williams fronted to his fourth social event of the week on Wednesday - fifth if you count the night before’s Nokia Sirocco after-party at the Kirketon. However the extra activitity might be just what he needs to take his mind off former partner Kym Johnson showing Jerry Springer a few quick steps on the US version of Dancing With The Stars. Hmm

Will Ferrell In Town for Talledega Nights

He may have been strange about having his picture taken at the airport but Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly were in excellent form for last night’s film premiere in Sydney which saw the city’s most energetic party-goers including Tom Williams ready for their moment on the red carpet.

The Devil Wears Prada After-Party at Crystal, Sydney

Sydney’s fab fashion pack put on their best summer clothes for Tuesday night’s special preview of The Devil Wears Prada which was hosted by Cosmo Magazine. TV sweetie Amy Erbacher was the most stylish frontrunner in this season’s hot pants.
