Sydney fashion diva Suzie Isak has been turning the Big Apple hot pink by helping to launch Aussie beauty brand, ModelCo into the beyond chic Henri Bendel department store in Manhatten. She’s had plenty of time to meet and greet the locals…

“Had the best fun attending a dinner for Conservation International at the American Museum of Natural History on Central Park West,'’ writes Suzie. “It was hosted by David Letterman and legendary, former NBC anchor, Tom Brokaw. The highlight of the night was when he interviewed Jane Fonda’s ex, CNN founder Ted Turner and a Pucci-clad, Signourney Weaver.

“I was mega excited just to be there, especially when I got to chat to Ted Turner who told me he loves Australia and Australian women'’ (well, of course). “He particularly adores being out on Sydney Harbour and we talked about organising a cruise when he is next in town. ‘’(Suzie’s partner, Ian Elliot has an impressive yacht) “The dinner was called Turner’s Turn and the silver fox certainly had a turn at flirting. He is extremely charming…

“Harrison Ford was also there with Calista Flockhart but he kept slurring  when he spoke and getting the words `conversation’ and `conservation’ mixed up. It was almost like he was back on another galaxy far, far away if you know what I mean.

“As you can see, I’m having a ball meeting the most amazing people and going to some awesome events. I’ve also been involved in fashion styling for some fab new clients who have invited me to visit them in the Hamptons. Can’t wait.
