Paris Hilton’s LA.

Global glamazon, Paris Hilton has been getting a little bored with LA lately, according to one of our special operatives but this is where she likes to hang out when she is not dodging people like Lindsay Lohan.

Kitson: 115 South Robertson Boulevard.

The store that started the craze for Team Aniston and Team Jolie T-shirts, is filled with celebutantes, kitsch gifts, Paris’ approved tank tops, swimwear, ugh boots, wedges as well as great handbags and jewels. The walls are plastered with pictures of the famous and fabulous wearing Kitson items.

Fred Segal: 8100 Melrose Avenue

Pure West Coast’ hip with many mini boutiques under one roof. Expect to find all the latest labels and trends - everything from T-shirts and shoes to beauty products. (Paris Hilton was spotted buying tan towels here - yes, folks in California even the terry towelling has to be bronzed up). Try a pomegranate smoothie from the cafe at Fred Segal which is where our operative met Paris.

Koi: 730 North La Cienega Boulevard

This Japanese fusion restaurant has great food, a cool atmosphere and lethal cocktails.

Mr Chow: 344 North Camden Drive

Ignroe the paparazzi outside and enjoy the delicious Chinese food and ultra hip vibe. The tables are quite close together - so you will soon have all the goss worth knowing. Don’t make the mistake of asking for a menu like a bogan. Leave your meal up to your waiters .

The Roosevelt: 7000 Hollywood Boulevard.

This hotel was a favourite of both Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe and was the birthplace of the Academy Awards. Go there for evening drinks and lounge by the pool with a cocktail on one of the outdoor couches and large, floor cushions (don’t even think about getting down on one of those if you are in danger of a wardrobe malfunction though).
