No sooner had Danish Royal bridesmaid Amber Petty returned home from a romantic New Zealand’ holiday with new Maori lover, Teriui Le Mon, when she was back at the airport again for a trip to Vanuatu to judge the fashions at a horse race. “I think it’s the local version of the Melbourne Cup,'’ explained a hopeful Amber. Meanwhile she is still coming to terms with an article published in one of the trash magazines this week giving her a hard time over a past relationship that proved to be much more controversial than even she could have guessed.
She met Le Mon - a set designer -just after being ejected from the island on Vanuatu for Seven’s latest reality fest, Celebrity Survivor and now she is looking forward to his arrival in Australia in time for her birthday next month. And yes, all she wants now is to be left in peace. Also would everyone please pipe down about Princess Mary?

Remember Rob Flanagan who scored the role of a bank robber in Superman Returns - the one who shot Superman in the eye? The knockabout decorating consultant who schmoozed Superman director Bryan Singer, while working out in the gym on Fox Studios’ lot (I didn’t know they had one there either and I would also like to visit in my fluoro legwarmers), is currently in demand in the States. He has had two agents in LA trying to entice him to sign up and one agent in New York. Flanagan is also being considered for a role in a US series. It seems that just like that man with the cape - for Flanagan, the sky is the limit.

Nick with his favourite celebutantes -Pic by Jim Lee.
There were some really fab entries in the most recent contest. You were asked to nominate an ultimate birthday gift for fabled Wogboy Nick Giannopolous who just celebrated his big day on July 1 with a celebrity-stricken party at boutique. (Paris and Nicky Hilton, alas, could not make it). The winner is Andrew Jenkns who suggested a gold plated Monaro. (how apt!). He receives a divine collection of Tahiti spa products from Tali Shine.

Some of the entries were plain unkind. One person said that Nick’s ultimate gift would be to be back on Australian TV, while another thought it would be best for Nick to have a woman who is shorter than him. Yet another said “a house full of mirrors so he can look at himself'’. Steve P’s was the most comprehensive entry- “ a tall, slim blonde Greek girl that spoke Greek fluently. She would make Nick happy and be tolerated by his mum. She would arrive on Nick’s doorstep with a kilo of Didoni fetta cheese and home back waxing kit that she would know how to use.'’
Every one of our published entries receives a Tali Shine’ Goddess lipgloss valued at $19.95. Congrats to Andrew and thanks for entering. There will be more contests soon

Which hugely unpopular television producer, who punched a researcher on the head in a car park up north, was not only promoted at the troubled station but went on to marry a senior member of the team?

Paul Merron, Kirstie Clements, Napoleon Perdis and Ebony Stocks.
Forever tanned makeup guru, Napoleon Perdis is going all out to promote his new collection of summer products designed to lock in a tan and make you feel good all over while you’re doing it. He shot the ads for the campaign at his sumptuous new home in the Hollywod Hills with the breathtakingly gorgeous Paul Marron and model contest winner, Ebony Stocks. Vogue editor, Kirstie Clements was there as well to add her expertise but she probably won’t be sporting a tan anytime soon…
