The celebrated actor and comic Nick Giannopoulos is practically an icon at boutique - Melbourne’s coolest nightclub, so it’s probably not surprising to hear that Darren (Razzle) Thornburgh is putting on a party this Friday to celebrate his pal Nick’s birthday on July 1. (Same date as Pamela Anderson - go figure). No doubt it will be an incredible event with lots of Melbourne’s A-list swarming about. However there’s no reason why you can’t join in the fun. Simply tell me what you think would be Nick’s ultimate birthday present and you could be in the running to receive a delicious pack of exquisite Tahiti’ spa products from Tali Shine (you can pretend that you’re on Nicole and Keith’s honeymoon in Bora Bora). What’s more, in keeping with the Greek’ theme, every single entry that I publish will receive one of Tali’s Grecian Goddess lip glosses valued at $19.95. By the way, Nick says that his ultimate prezzie would be Nana Mouskouri with just her glasses on and nothing else. But you can do better than that.

Which high profile dad has Googled every unflattering mention in the press of his girlfriend’s sporty boyfriend, printed them out and sent them to her? So, he really doesn’t approve of the relationship. Pity that his own Google mentions are far more unflattering..

The craziest story doing the rounds at present is about a photographer burying himself in the earth before the wedding and springing out to catch that bridal shot before being arrested by police. Seriously? Also one well known pap who is certainly not on Nicole’s xmas card list took up a position on Bora Bora before their plane even took off for that destination. Let’s hope that he is not allergic to insect repellent…

McLeod’s Daughters’ hearthrob, Luke Jacobz showed what he is made of last week by taking to the runway to model undies by noted intimates’ designer, Bruno Schiavi. It was his modelling debut. The thrilling show was held at Double Bay’s glamorous epicentre - at the post-reality eatery Pink Salt. (Remember the fab Bella Serventi from My Restaurant Rules? She walks the floor). The launch was attended by lots of seemingly cool media babes including the newly disengaged Kathryn Eisman and the equally stunning Amy Erbacher who was kitted out in a sexy nurses uniform. It was all happening in Manly on Sunday with not only Sydney’s very own Hollywood wedding as Nicole Kidman married Keith Urban (she changed her mind on the bouquet three times), on the harbour side of the fun suburb but local nightspot heroes Will & Toby Osmond were celebrating their birthdays and the opening of their smart venue on the beachside of Manly. The guest list was a total mixure of veteran socialites including Lady Sonia McMahon, and the omnipresent Di Hamill - to TV personalities like Amy Erbacher and Toni Pearen, along with fab fashion designer, Jonathan Ward and hairdresser to the stars, Joh Bailey. Sydney’s wolverine couple who never turn down an invite to anything - were naturally also present.

You have to hand it to the Yanks when it comes to sheer invention. Not content with Russell Crowe, Rupert Murdoch, Hugh Jackman, Deborra Lee Furness and Naomi Watts attending the Hollywood wedding of Nicole Kidman to Keith Urban, one New York paper today added Renee Zellweiger and Meryl Streep to the guest list. Huh? Did we somehow miss them in the celebrity scrum?
