Melbourne’s newest dining destination, Cocamo in the Docklands really upped the ante in style and sophistication. At Tuesday night’s launch guests were welcomed with `Bollie’, Espresso Martinis and Tuscan Mules. Delish. Keeping in the Milano mood was the white bean soup, carpaccio, goat cheese tortellini and other sophisticated dishes included Bollinger Foam and chocolate truffles to finish.
Taking it all in were Melbourne’s most eclectic funsters including Tottie Goldsmith, footy power broker, Rod Butters, Cindy Sargon, Rebecca O’Reilly, Susie MCLean and Frank & Judy Romano. Scalding hot music producer, John Alagia (who has just finished Evermore’s latest CD) flew in for the evening and had some guests in a lather.
Verdict: The city’s glamazons went home satisfied dreaming of those Bollie foams.

Last weekend, professional reality show contestant, Katie Fischer, was flat out texting everyone on her phone list to vote for her in the singing fest It Takes Two. Or else...
Latest reports from the Seven’ television epicentre is that the fabled TM exponent threw a hissy fit in makeup early in the week because she was concerned that another glamazon on the show might look better than her in the photo session. Perish the thought.

Sydney fashion maven Suzie Isak has hit New York to help launch Modelco at Henri Bendel on Fifth Avenue when the store devoted not only its sacred cosmetic space but also an entire window. It’s all part of the Oz brand’s global domination policy. After all, no one does more for the notion of the (fake) bronzed Aussie than Modelco.
“New York is unreal,'’ says Suzie. “I just love it her and feel honoured to be part of an Aussie brand in the most prestigious Henri Bendel. The launch week was amazing. Imagine a hot pink runway in the store atrium and the windows on 5th Avenue boasting enormous, hot pink Modelco cans that are visible from Trump Tower. The models are all dressed in Zimmerman swimsuits..
“Met French actor, Pierre Beucusse who uses the Tan in a Can when he parties with his friends Dolce & Gabbana in St Tropez. Judith Missoni walked through the store and also had her arms sprayed with tan. Visited the Freidrick Fekkai salon in Henri Bendel and sat betwen Harry Connick Jnr and Signourney Weaver. It costs $650 for a cut and blow with most celebs going through the private entrance..“
Next week I am going to Trump Tower to catch up with his assistant, Norma and visit the Donald’s Boardroom where they shot the Apprentice. Can’t wait..'’ Suzie x
